CHOIR NEWS 2011
Registration for Sonshine Choir is on Kick-off Sunday, September 11, in the second grade room from 12:00 to 12:30 pm. Please have a least one parent present. The first and second graders start choir on September 11 and the Kindergarteners will start one week later on September 18. The Sonshine Choir has been greatly blessed by our congregation! It is such a joy to hear children's voices singing praises to the Lord.

Welcome back to a new choir season! Interviews for the Carol Choir are September 11 from 11:00am - 1:00 pm, and Wednesday, September 14, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Parents must be available for sign-ups. Regular rehearsal are Sundays, 11:30 - 12:30 (except Oct. 9, Forest Home All-Church Camp), and Wednesdays, 6:00 - 7:30 pm (except Nov. 23). We will have dinner at 5:30 pm each week.
Invite your friends and classmates to join the choir. All children third through sixth grad are welcome.

The Sonshine Choir is our chorus for Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Specially designed for them, the Sonshine Choir rehearses
weekly on Sunday mornings at 11:30 am, where they begin a lifetime of
musical skill-development while learning that service to God should
always be a joyful experience! Sonshine Choir participates in major
church concerts and events. The discipline of regular
rehearsal, combined with their earliest experiences singing for God in
front of his people, is a wonderful way to develop young minds and
hearts, and help children develop good habits at an early age. No prior
experience is necessary.
The Carol Choir, directed by Marjorie Lowe ,is our chorus for grades 3 through 6. In addition to singing at various services throughout the year, the Carol Choir participates in a special children's Christmas concert, and various holiday services, as well as presenting an annual Spring musical stage production. No prior experience is needed to participate, just the goal of serving Jesus through music! Carol Choir rehearses from 11:30 am-12:30 pm on Sundays and also 6:00-7:15 pm on Wednesdays.
