Nursery The Hollywood Presbyterian Church Nursery is a safe place on our campus where children are cared for while their parents are involved in other activities. Childcare is provided during all church services, from 8:15 a.m. through the conclusion of the 11:00 a.m. service. Although the Nursery has a paid, professional staff, on Sunday mornings we depend on parents to help. Please sign up if you are able. Pagers are provided to parents while they go about their activities on campus. Please note that the nursery cannot accept sick children. The Nursery offers two special programs for parents of preschoolers: Parents Night Out Parents Night Out is offered one Saturday per month, with child care provided from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.. Enjoy a night out together knowing your preschoolers are safe and secure in a wholesome environment. The fee is $20 per child or $50 per family. Reservations are required one week in advance. Kids Play Day Kids Play Day meets on Thursday mornings, 9:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m., with the nursery offering child care for preschoolers (4 years old and under). Space is limited and reservations are required. The fee is $20 per child. Parenting, Pancakes & Play Enjoy a delicious breakfast and hear a speaker discuss a timely parenting topic while your kids enjoy supervised play. Pancakes and bacon are served 8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m., with the parenting discussion at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are $2 for children 8 and under and $3 for all others. The 2007 - 2008 MOPS program at Hollywood Presbyterian Church begins on Sept. 19, 2007 and will run through May 28, 2008. We meet in The Cellar on the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 9-11:30 am. Come enjoy a wonderful breakfast, encouraging speaker, special activities, and fellowship with other moms who face similar challenges and joys in parenting preschoolers. Childcare, including a dynamic curriculum for children, is offered for a nominal fee. We are currently accepting registration for Fall 2007 (Sept. 19, 2007 - Jan. 17, 2008). The registration fee is $50 per semester for each mom. Childcare is available for children (ages 5 and under) at a fee of $30 per semester for each child. Our staff members are experienced early childhood educators who meet the State of California Department of Social Services requirements. They are dedicated Christians who come from diverse cultural backgrounds. We are located on the beautiful Hollywood Presbyterian Church campus with convenient freeway access.
