Perfect for children, church groups, seniors and the child-at-heart in everyone, this Christmas Carol returns to Dickens’ original Gospel-saturated text, but paced for today’s audiences with professional Broadway-experienced actors, directing and production. FPCH’s A Christmas Carol – the way Dickens meant it to be! is adapted and choreographed by Julietta Corti, directed by Jesse Corti, produced by Kimi Walker.
Linger afterwards at Fezziwig’s Dance Party in the Henrietta Mears Center, where you can learn a Victorian jig and enjoy Christmas music, sweet treats and even sweeter fellowship, with warm cider. Audiences are invited to come in Dickens-era costumes or hats. Buy 10 or more tickets to reserve a limited number of Fezziwig group tables. For tickets, please click the EventBrite link below. Our own beloved Tim Farmer is Ebenezer Scrooge, who learns the true meaning of Christmas and invites us on his journey. Producer Kimi Walker (long-time FPCH elder and choir president) is featured leading Scrooge’s journey as The Ghost of Christmas Past.
The heart of A Christmas Carol is sermon and worship rolled together, challenging our lives with God’s Spirit of compassion and kindness, despite our Scrooge-like pasts.
If you’d like to be part of this celebration, you can help us by getting your tickets early, posting and forwarding the EventBrite link or sharing the video above. You can give flyers to invite friends and local ministries you’re part of, or even put up posters in favorite businesses. Our congregation is invited to volunteer in a variety of capacities, including donating cookies and cider, or caroling before each show
Individual and corporate sponsors welcomed. Thank you for celebrating Christ’s coming with us!
We’ll be inviting local churches, school groups, and ministries to join with us and bring guests as well. We hope to see you there – it will be a Christmas to share and remember! “God bless us, every one!”
