Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

By God’s grace and in the power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to walk in step with Jesus’ commandment to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves. (Matthew 22:37-38) We lament the sin and brokenness of racism, that subtly infects us all, even as believers in Jesus Christ. We repent and turn to the cross of Jesus Christ asking his forgiveness and for him to make us new. We pray for bold courage in the days ahead to stand with Jesus Christ and with the oppressed and marginalized.
